Our passion for fixing things dates back to 1971 when our parent company, MAXAM, was first established – and since then we’ve developed a strong reputation for innovative products that work to make building repairs faster, easier and more cost-effective.
DURA+ is the natural progression of that commitment. It’s a 6-in-1 hybrid adhesive sealant, designed to take the place of multiple tubes that regularly clutter up your van or toolbox. There’s no more need for separate tubes of sealant, adhesive, filler, caulk or mastic – just one tube that copes effortlessly with almost any task!

We’ve been in the business long enough to know that rummaging around in the back of a van looking for the right tube isn’t just annoying – it’s a waste of time you just don’t have. We’ve seen time and again how many half-used tubes of product get thrown away because they’ve gone off after being opened for a small job and not used up. We knew there had to be a better way – and DURA+ was born!
DURA+ can be used for a wide range of construction and building maintenance tasks, from sealing bathroom suites to fitting skirting boards and architrave, repairing leaks, fixing lead flashing, bonding a huge range of materials including brick, steel and plastic, installing solar panels and window frames, fixing tiles, and so much more. It works indoors or outdoors, even in freezing temperatures or underwater. It means fewer materials to carry around, and much less wastage, since you can use the same tube for multiple tasks until it’s gone. Problem solved!
We’re innovators
We’ve taken all the best qualities of conventional tube adhesives, sealants and fillers and combined them into a single product – while also eliminating many of the drawbacks.
DURA+ has a non-toxic, low-odour formula that makes working with our product a straightforward, comfortable experience with no nasty fumes or environmental hazards – we’re even working on developing an eco-friendly tube.
It’s 100% food safe, making it safe for worktop installation and other jobs around the kitchen. It’s mould and mildew resistant, and paintable, making it ideal for filling cracks and holes. It’s got powerful, instant grab (even underwater!) and high bond strength – even at temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees. It won’t crack after curing, and unlike other hybrid products, it won’t fade or turn yellow over time. Simply put, it’s the only tube you need.
